Rest day
A day off the bike today! The support crew are giving them a good wash and a service whilst we have massages and afternoon naps! We attended a beautiful ceremony this morning! Chris and Kuhn Gai (our tour guides) are engaged and about to build a house. The ceremony at the temple with the monks this morning was to bless the first foundations of their new home. Kuhn Gai is so wonderful, she heads up our support crew and looks after us so well. She fills our water bottles before we even know they're empty, she serves us food at lunch and dinner and generally mothers' us all!! She is just such a beautiful person and to be part of their special ceremony was very moving..... Going to be hard to get back on the bike tomorrow.....

We are enjoying reading your blog posts Brock had a laugh as we pictured you covered in mud and i am a little jealous of you elephant and tiger encounters :) they would have been fantastic! anyway enjoy a day of rest or i hope you enjoyed it. ReplyDeleteHi Kerrie I look forward to reading your next chapter,it sounds like you are really enjoying this part of your journey. If we had said to you 12 months ago that you would be doing this and feeling so good about everything, I'm sure you would not have believed us. I am very happy for you, you have put everything into this and you deserve to feel proud of yourself and to have the feeling of achievment. You are an inspiration to your children which I am sure are very proud of their mum. How did you go with telling Adam that you will be coming home a day later, was he ok with it.
